3 words to describe this novel: Super Cute, Small Town Charm, and Delightful
Do you like small-town drama, sweet yet sexy love, sister friendships, budding in parents, and love triangles? All fall in this book. As I opened the book, I was ready for a fun story, but what I got was so much more. Daphne is a heart-warming book with a strong female lead and tender romance. It has holiday charm, and even in the heat of summer, it has me wishing for the merriest season to be here. I really connected with this book on a deeper level because it has all of the aspects of life: love, overcoming a difficult challenge, starting over, family, and friendship. All of which are written honestly. Now on to one of my most favorite aspects, Brayden and Daphne’s romance is fire hot, yet as sweet as sugar. They each help the other grow in ways that are very refreshing, honest, and sometimes hard to hear. They give each other support and not only have chemistry but a sexy friendship. A delight that I wasn’t expecting was the wide range of characters. Each had nice dimensions and were different strokes of people, both good and bad that I have actually met in my life. If you have close friends, then you will adore her friendship with her sisters Harmonie and Georgina. They, as do some other surprise friends, provide lots of giggly and fun moments! Fine holiday fun! It is just the right thing to keep you warm during a cold night! I give this 5 Stars! I LOVE THIS ONE! Thanks, Chloe Quinn for writing IT! So glad it is a series!
