Hi Nicola, let’s jump right in and start with GETTING TO KNOW YOU. What GENRES DO YOU WRITE AND WHY?
I write a mixed genre. Each book is contemporary fiction and has elements of drama, comedy, romance, crime, and touches on modern social issues. I like keeping them a mix because life itself is a mix of various elements.
Nicola, can you share the TITLE OF YOUR BOOKS?

TO FACE THE FIRE (Book 1)
JUST LIKE LIGHTNING (Book 2)
Let’s talk more ABOUT THE BOOKS. What is one of your FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THIS SERIES?
I love that it’s set in New York City. Being so far away, writing this series is a way to feel like I’m back home.
What is ONE TIP you would like to share FOR ASPIRING AUTHORS?
Don’t wait for “someday”. Right NOW is the “someday” you were waiting for last month/last year. Get to it!
Who is one of your FAVORITE AUTHORS?
That’s a tough one. I have *so* many favorites, it’s hard to pick just one. But the first author to ever make me have “the feels” was Louisa May Alcott when I read Little Women in 4th grade.
Nicola, what’s NEXT FOR YOU:
What is the NAME OF YOUR UPCOMING RELEASE?
JUST LIKE LIGHTNING will be out in the next few weeks. After that, is WHISPER ON THE WIND (tentative title)
What should people EXPECT TO SEE FROM YOU IN THE FUTURE?
Oddly enough, there’s a companion cookbook for the series that will be out sometime after the 4th book.
What are you MOST EXCITED ABOUT Nicola?
The Author Spotlight I run on my website. I have met some pretty amazing authors!
