3 words to describe this novel: Bright, Sweet, Intense Love
Inhale Love Exhale Poetry is a breath of fresh air. I connected to this collection written by Lo-arna Green because of its honest, pure, and intense voice in respect to love and matters of the heart. It doesn’t shy away from passion, or the intensity of thrilling, real-life, raw emotions felt from the dizzying influence of loving one’s romantic partner. The only thing I would have wanted to see as a reader is a clear list of clickable titles via a table of contents so that I could have easy access to revisit my favorite poems within the collection. However with the structure being a constant flow, as a lover of poetry and poetic voices, this fluid structure within the collection was also a major plus because it felt as if it was done without the clickable TOC intentionally. It feels as if it is to make you feel the thriving emotions more intensely. Without the TOC, it felt like a private journal that had the veil of emotions drawn back and raw. I loved that! It gave it an unique sense of vulnerability almost if to say that the author never pauses her thoughts of love. That love is a constant flow. Where one thought ends, it continues to the next intense thought of love of her partner. That voice drew the poetry collection together in a highly powerful way. One of my favorite poems was about how he has awakened her to life. Love is an awakening. And I connected to that as well! I like Lo-arna’s beautiful approach to writing about love. It is bright, hopeful, and deeply emotional. It’s not dark, but it is lasting. It shares how the right lover gives you strength and exceeds all of your expectations. She is a believer in love and makes you believe even more as well! Fall in love with Inhale Love and Exhale Poetry! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks, Lo-arna Green for writing this one! You make us all believe in the happy ending! Now, I am off to read the next one Inhale Love Exhale Poetry: Volume 2! Jacks, Silver Beans Café Reviewer |
